Operations Specialist



Our client is one of India's leading corporate, and highly treasured, brands throughout the world. The organization has a presence in the fields of Pharma and Life Sciences, Agri & Performance Polymers, Food & Retail, Oil & Gas and Services. We are looking for an Operations Specialist who will be responsible for a combination of accounts payable and operations support. This is a newly created position to assistant in the logistics process as well as accounting duties. This is a work from home/remote position with a salary range between $45-50k annually and Direct Hire. Ideally, the right candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, 2+ years working in manufacturing, and a solid understanding of the Production/Work Order Process. You will be the point of contact for customers/vendors, manage sales order workflow, match purchase orders, invoicing/billing, International shipping/receiving administration, material delivery tracking, inventory tracking, quality assurance documentation.



Responsibilities

A/P Support:

Handling AP mail box and obtain approvals from Operations Manager

Upload invoices in workflow and complete coding of invoices (ledger code, cost centers) 

Replying to vendor inquiries.

Deposit check received from customers

Maintain tax relating forms for all and existing vendors

Enter freight outward bill in BAAN and match with TO and enter KTU entries in BAAN

Operations:

Receive Sales Order Confirmation (SOC) request from Sales Manager and check SOC request against customer PO, as back up to the Operations Manager.

Invoice generation and sharing with third parties.

Receive & store soft copy of the shipping documents from India.

Coordinate with broker/agent for USDA customs and FDA inspections and clearance of goods.

Track the delivery of material to the warehouse with our carrier and receive the shipment into BAAN when it arrives.

Collect the receipts from the warehouse and POD’s from the ship lines and save them in the shared folder.
